HMDA, TSIIC to hold e-auctions of 454 plots

The Telangana government has authorized the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) and the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) to hold an e-auction for 454 plots located on Hyderabad’s outskirts.

The e-auction is set to take place between November 10 and 23, with the government expecting to raise revenue between Rs. 500 and 700 crores.

According to reports, the plots are located at the following locations:

  • Chandanagar in Serilingampally
  • Kawadipally
  • Bahadurpally
  • Thorrur
  • Turkayamjal
  • Kurmalguda
  • Amisthapur

While three prime plots in Serilingampally, on the outskirts of Hyderabad, will be auctioned on November 18, 94 plots in Kawadipally will be auctioned on November 10, 11, 87 plots in Bahadurpally will be auctioned on November 14, and 15, 145 plots in Thorrur will be auctioned on November 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22, the 14 plots in Turkayamjal will be auctioned on November 23, the 110 in Kurmalguda on November 16 and 17 and one Amisthapur commercial plot on November 23.

HMDA will auction off plots in Thorrur, Turkayamjal, Bahadurpally, Kurmalguda, and Amisthapur, while TSIIC will handle the e-auction of plots in Chandanagar and Kawadipally.

According to reports, the plot sizes range from 187 sq yards to 6907 sq yards. The minimum bid per sq yard ranges from Rs 10,000 to Rs 40,000.

While the auction will begin on November 10, pre-bid meetings for plots located at several locations will take place between October 29 and November 10.

The government will provide the plots with all necessary amenities such as drinking water, underground sewerage and stormwater drainage systems, and BT roads.

Apart from amenities, plots that are free of litigation will easily obtain HMDA building permissions.

Since the plots are in multi-use zones, there is no need to change the land use and construction can begin immediately.
