Hyderabad: South Zone police conducted cordon and search operation under the leadership of South Zone Deputy Commissioner V Satyanaraya. About more than 250 police personnel participated from the rank of ACP to Home Guards, a police statement here said.
As many as 42 suspects were apprehended during cordon and search operation which was held in the areas of Chandrayangutta, Farooq Nagar in the city.
Besides apprehending 42 suspects, police also identified 12 persons as rowdy sheeters. 148 vehicles including two-wheelers (137), three-wheelers (9), four-wheelers (2) also seized during the operation.
