Hyderabad: Countdown begins for most awaited Formula E race

The countdown to the highly anticipated FIA Formula E 2023 Greenko E-Prix event in Hyderabad has begun, and the electric racing cars have arrived in the city. Greenko has taken every possible step, with the assistance of the State government and the FIA, to ensure that these valuable vehicles are stored in top-notch conditions in custom-built garages. All Formula E cars will be stored in specially designed, environmentally friendly garages powered by renewable energy Greenko.

The cars, spares, and various equipment were transported from various locations into Hyderabad Airport, which received special permission from the Union Government to freight a total of 22 cars aboard several aircraft with a combined load exceeding several tons.

Ace Nxt Gen officials are overjoyed that Formula E cars have arrived in Hyderabad. The efficient coordination of governments and agencies resulted in quick clearances. The cars will soon be housed in Greenko’s new renewable energy powered garages, demonstrating the country’s commitment to sustainability and providing fans with a platform to experience electric car racing.

The arrival of Formula E cars is a defining moment in Indian motorsport history, as the country prepares to host its first-ever green race on February 11th at the picturesque Hussain Sagar Lake. This event not only highlights the Telangana government’s vision of making Hyderabad a carbon-free city, but it also provides fans with an exciting opportunity to experience the thrill of electric car racing.

Formula E, officially the ABB FIA Formula E Championship, is a racing series that only uses electric vehicles. This race, inspired by innovation, uses eco-friendly electric energy while also providing the amazing sporting excitement of track racing. It will feature 11 teams and 22 cars, including notable names such as McLaren, Maserati, Porsche, Jaguar, Nissan, and Mahindra Racing. The introduction of the Gen3 Era Formula E car, known for its top speed of 322kmph and status as the world’s fastest, lightest, most powerful, and most efficient electric race car, will be the event’s highlight.
