It was revealed that Veerababu has been working for the agency for two months.

According to the police, Veerababu denied taking a trip ordered by the owners on Sunday because he had just returned from a trip in the morning and did not want to go on another because he planned to go home to Krishna district on the day being his off.

The owners were enraged by his response and assaulted and humiliated him. Later in the day, under the influence of alcohol, Veerababu planned to exact revenge by setting their assets on fire.
