Hyderabad: Several Men dressed in Money Heist Costume refer to PM Modi as a “nation robber.”

A day after a massive ‘Money Heist’ hoarding accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of robbing the entire nation was erected in LB Nagar, a few youngsters dressed in Money Heist costumes are now strolling through the city holding placards that read, “We only rob banks, you rob the entire nation.” #BYEBYEMODI.”

The billboard battle between the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has spread from Hyderabad’s streets to every nook and cranny of Telangana State.

Previously, billboards and banners with the hashtag #ByeByeModi and the slogan ‘Saalu Modi, Sampaku Modi’ (Enough Modi, don’t kill people Modi) were displayed, with references to the repealed Farm Laws, Agnipath scheme, demonetization, privatization of public sector undertakings (PSUs), and the union government’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Twitter users shared photos and videos of the mascots stationed at various locations, including the Zaheerabad railway junction, Kacheguda railway station, and the Punjab National Bank in Vanasthalipuram, among others.

“They are appearing at various crowded locations such as petrol pumps, banks, railway stations, and so on,” one user tweeted.

The city’s first similar hoarding was spotted on Friday, ahead of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s national executive meeting. The poster, which was located in LB Nagar Circle, accused the Prime Minister of stealing from the general public.

Satish Reddy, the social media convenor of the state ruling party Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), tweeted an image of the hoarding and said, “What creativity!”

Following the attack, several posters praising the TRS and KCR were allegedly vandalized across the city by BJP functionaries.

The posters, which were displayed in the LB Nagar constituency, emphasized the state’s and KCR’s accomplishments.

According to a TRS official, the vandalism by BJP workers allegedly occurred minutes after the party placed hoardings across Hyderabad highlighting KCR and the Telangana government’s accomplishments.
