Hyderabad: Traffic restrictions on Saturday in view of ‘Jalsa Azmat-e-Mustafa’

Traffic restrictions have been issued in view of Saturday’s public meeting ‘Jalsa Azmat-e-Mustafa’ organized by Mushtarika Majlis-e-Amal (United Action Forum) at Deccan college grounds, Darussalam. Between 6:00 and 11:00 pm, traffic restrictions will be in place.

 

It has been advised that citizens avoid the roads to Goshamahal – Darussalam, Ek Minar – Darussalam, and Sitarambagh – Darussalam, as stated in a press release. During the duration of the programme, traffic will either be stopped or diverted, as per the situation. The traffic diversion/closure of roads will be removed once the program is over.

MJ Market traffic heading to Seeta Ram Bagh, Mallepally will not be permitted to proceed towards Darusalam and will be diverted to MJ Bridge so they can reach their destination via MJ Bridge, Jummerath Bazar, Gandhi Statue, Mangalhat Market, Bhoiguda, Seeta Ram Bagh, and Mallepally.

Begum Bazar Chatri, Feelkhana traffic heading towards Mallepally will be diverted to Malakunta via Gandhi Bhavan, Ek Minar, Yousufain Dargah, Nampally Area Hospital, and Vijaynagar Colony.

The buses and heavy vehicles coming from City College and Puranapul that intend to proceed to Mallepally will be diverted at MJ Bridge to Afzalgunj or Puranapul rather than Darussalam.

In the same way, traffic from Mallepally and Bhoiguda Kaman will not be allowed to travel toward Darussalam, but will be diverted at Aghapura towards Ghode Ki Khabar or Char Khandil Road.

There will be no entry of buses or heavy vehicles from Mehdipatnam into Darussalam, and they will be diverted to Vijaynagar Colony via Nampally Area Hospital, Yousufain Dargah, Ek Minar Masjid and Gandhi Bhavan from Mallepally X Roads.

People have been requested to cooperate and take alternate routes to reach their destinations, noting the diversions. All the restrictions will be lifted once the programme is over, the police said.
