Hyderabad: Two women were attacked with knife in broad daylight

It was broad daylight stabbing in Hyderabad on Friday when a married woman was critically injured after being stabbed by her stalker. A busy road in Hafiz Baba Nagar in the old city was the scene of the incident.

Upon admission to the hospital, the 48-year-old woman was treated for her injuries. After the attack, the man escaped and police were on the lookout for him. Several videos of the incident have gone viral on social media.

In the video, a burqa-clad woman appears to be attacked from behind by a man wielding a long knife. As people watched in horror, he continued stabbing her even after she collapsed. A passerby tried to move closer but was forced to step back by the attacker brandishing the knife. Her condition is stable after police rushed to the scene and transferred her to the hospital. At the Kanchanbagh Police Station, a case has been filed. For the purpose of apprehending the accused, police have formed five teams. A mother of six children reported being harassed and stalked by her neighbour, according to her family.

Last year, they reported the incident to the police. It was reported that he was arrested and later released by the police.

Another gruesome act of violence occurred here in Kanchanbagh in Old City on Friday when a jilted lover attacked a woman in broad daylight.

In this case, the accused has been identified as Habeeb. An employee of a private company, the victim woman (29), was in a relationship with accused Habeeb, according to the police. A personal issue caused them to argue recently, and as a result, Habeeb harboured a grudge against the victim. Despite several pleas by Habeeb, the victim woman refused to maintain their relationship.

In full view of the public, the accused attacked the victim on the road near Omer Hotel after becoming angry over her attitude. Police have formed special teams to apprehend the accused, and the victim was shifted to a nearby hospital.
