“If Sardar Patel wasn’t there, Hyderabad will not remain with India today,” Amit Shah

Reminding that the Hyderabad will not remain with India if Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel – the then Home Minister was not there to merge it into the Indian Union, Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister while addressing BJP’s Vijay Sankalp Yatra in the City said, “During the Telangana agitation, the KCR was frequently seen chanting that Hyderabad Liberation Day will be celebrated officially in the new state. However, no such celebration was organised by this KCR government as per his promise.”

Blaming CM KCR as a blind supporter of an occultist (Tantrik), Shah said, during the last eight years of his rule, neither he steps into state secretariat nor he allows the people to meet him there just because a Tantrik warned him of losing power if doing so. “If a chief minister, who refrains from entering into the state secretariat for the welfare of the public, holds any right to continue over the coveted post of CM,” he asked.

Reminding that KCR’s only dream is to see his son KTR as the next chief minister of Telangana State, the BJP stalwart said, “Let KCR know that neither you nor your son will be the next Chief Minister as the next party who will come to power is the Bharatiya Janata Party led by PM Modi.”

“Let KCR continue averting visits to the state secretariat, as the next chief minister who will enter the secretariat will be from BJP. The next government will be formed by the party with a flag emblazoned with a lotus flower.” he vowed.

“Though the ruling car in Telangana state is being driven by the KCR, the steering was in the hands of AIMIM,” said the senior BJP leader adding that, “The whole country is heading towards development except Telangana, the only south Indian state that is extremely lagging behind the bar.”

“All the promises the KCR government so far failed to honour will be fulfilled by the BJP. Let us give one chance to rule the Telangana state, we will lead the state towards the path of development,” he claimed.
