IMD issued red alert for Hyderabad rain

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast of heavy rain in Hyderabad, predicting strong spells. The forecasted heavy rain will most likely hit after 4 p.m. Heavy rain is forecast in all six zones of Hyderabad today, including Charminar, Khairatabad, Kukatpally, LB Nagar, Secunderabad, and Serilingampally.

The IMD has also issued a red alert for Telangana, warning inhabitants of heavy rains, thunderstorms, and lightning. The meteorological service has forecast very heavy to extremely heavy rain in several districts across the state during the next three days.

In addition to Telangana, the IMD has predicted severe rainfall in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Goa. Residents in these areas are urged to be cautious and take the appropriate precautions to guarantee their safety during the heavy rain and poor weather conditions.
