An increase in the number of Covid-19 cases is continuing in the State. As many as 31,325 corona tests were conducted during the past 24 hours.

Of them, 997 persons tested positive, according to the corona health bulletin released today. With this, the total number of positive cases rose to 8,99,812. Chittoor recorded the highest number of 181 cases yesterday, while Vizianagaram District registered the lowest of four cases.
Five persons died of corona yesterday, one each in Chittoor, Anantapur. Kurnool, Nellore, and Visakhapatnam districts. With this, the total number of deaths reached 7,210 in the State. Yesterday, 282 persons recovered from the corona.

There are 6,104 active cases in the State now. State-wide, a total number of 1,50,21,363 tests were conducted in the State.
