Interim relief for Nagam from HC

Hyderabad: Recently joined Congress leader Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy heaved a sigh of relief as the High Court passed interim orders directing the State government to revive his security.

Nagam filed a petition in the High Court against the State government’s action in withdrawing his personal security. After perusing the petition on Thursday, the High Court directed the State government to give an explanation as to why it removed security for Nagam. The Court adjourned the case to Monday for further trial.

It may be mentioned here that Nagam filed a petition urging the High Court to direct the State government to revive his 1+1 security as the government removed his gunmen a few days ago. He also mentioned in his petition that he has life threat from the civil contractors as he filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the High Court alleging there was corruption in the works of Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme.
