Jagga Reddy demands health minister’s resignation

Hyderabad: Congress Party MLA T. Jagga Reddy today demanded the health minister of the state Etela Rajender to resign from his post for his failure to protect the lives of the poker of the state from the deadly Covid 19 virus.

He said that it was useless for the minister to continue in his post when he failed to protect the lives of the people of the state. He urged the CM of the state KCR to intervene in the issue and protect the lives of the people of the state.

In a public video released by him, the MLA said that he was reacting on the issue following the death of a death of the 17th Ward councilor of Sangareddy municipality Gousiya Begum due to the coronavirus.

He said that the victim had gone to all the hospitals for her treatment but none of the hospitals admitted her by citing a shortage of the beds.

He alleged that the nine of the hospital has a waiting list, ventilators, and oxygen supplies. He claimed that he himself did not get any bed despite being an MLA.

He alleged that district in-charge minister T. Harish Rao had not inquired about the status of the hospitals in the Sangareddy district. He also targeted medak MP from ruling TRS party K. Prabhakar Reddy and asked the whereabouts of the MP.
