Jeevan demands govt to solve ration dealers woes

Karimnagar:TCLP Deputy leader T Jeevan Reddy has lamented that the ration dealers were stating that they have no option but to commit suicide if the government failed to solve their problems.

Speaking on Saturday, Jeevan Reddy said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao implementing monarchical rule in the state. The government will be displaced if the government removed ration dealers, he said. He said that the Congress party will not keep quiet if the government adopts vengeful tactics against dealers. The dealers were being appointed on permanent basis unlike KCR government, which will stay in power mere five years. He asked the government to solve the problems of the ration dealers instead taking the issue as prestigious one.

He demanded the government to release Rs.417 crores immediately which were pending in for the last four years. He asked the government to appoint a committee to on the ration dealers demands like honorary salary Rs.30000 per month and to pay Rs.87 per every quintal. He made it clear that he will wage legal fight on behalf of ration dealers if need arose. (NSS)
