Joe Biden, Macron Discuss Ukraine-Russia War Over Call, Discuss Accountability

In the recent updates, US President Joe Biden and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron have reaffirmed their obligation to consider Russia responsible for its war on Ukraine, as indicated by the White House.

The two chiefs committed to the responsibility during a call on Sunday during which they examined the current circumstance in Ukraine as Russian powers kept bombarding and shelling significant urban areas.

In an articulation, the White House said Biden and Macron too “inspected ongoing strategic commitment and highlighted their obligation to consider Russia responsible for its activities and to help the public authority and individuals of Ukraine”.

The two chiefs’ discussion came hours after a tactical preparation base in the western city of Yavoriv was struck by a blast of Russian voyage rockets.

In another update, officials on Wednesday uncovered a $13.6 billion Ukraine help bundle that took President Joe Biden’s solicitation for weapons and preparing for Ukrainian powers and put it on steroids.

Part of a broad $1.5 trillion measure to subsidize the national government, the $13.6 billion bundle would purchase $3 billion in new weapons for Ukraine, rather than the $1.5 billion in new weapons remembered for Biden’s $10 billion solicitation. It’s a success for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who begged U.S. legislators in a Zoom call Saturday for more help as his nation battles a Russian intrusion.

With the West bringing together behind Ukraine’s battle, the White House’s underlying $6.4 billion ask on Feb. 25, the second day of the conflict, developed with tension from officials to a $10 billion solicitation on March 3. After officials met practically with Zelensky on Saturday, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said Monday the guide would surpass $12 billion.
