The Advisor to Chief Minister on Minorities Affairs, A. K. Khan has given the assurance of providing educational facilities, including guiding them in competitive and career-building examinations, to the children of Journalists and other deserving students.
A delegation led by the Telangana Urdu Working Journalists’ Federation President M. A. Majid, along with General Secretary Syed Ghouse Mohiuddin, has held a meeting with A. K. Khan and discussed on the issues of journalists related to Urdu. Mohammad Riaz Ahmed, Treasurer TUWJF, Nizamuddin Layeeq and Riaz Ahmed were also present.
A plan has also been discussed on bringing social awareness in the Muslim community through Journalism, apart from providing educational privileges to the children of journalists.
AK Khan has given a positive response in this regard and decided to organize an awareness meeting under the banner of Telangana Urdu Working Journalists Federation.
