K. Kavitha Telangana CM’s Daughter Sets Up Covid 19 Helpline

With the rising Covid 19 cases across the country, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter recently opened a Covid 19 helpline for the infected people.

State Legislator Releases Round The Clock Helpline For Covid 19 Patients

As per the latest reports, K. Kavitha who is also the state legislator in Telangana has set up a helpline for Covid 19 patients and to provide them assistance. The member of the Telangana Legislative Council took to Twitter to announce that people from Hyderabad or Nizamabad may contact them for any Covid 19 related assistance.

Kavita tweeted that she has been receiving calls and messages continually regarding Covid 19 help. Following this, people may contact her office in Hyderabad 040-23599999 / 89856 99999 Nzb : 08462- 250666. People may contact the office for any Covid 19 query or assistance.

Kavitha who is also a former Member of Parliament assured that her team will be working round the clock during this pandemic. This move comes after the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader received multiple requests from the families of Covid 19 patients who requested for hospitals, medicines, beds and financial assistance.

Telangana Records Nearly 6000 Cases; Highest Ever

Reports suggest that Telangana recently recorded 5926 Covid 19 cases and 18 deaths on Tuesday. The total number of Covid 19 cases in Telangana have now rose to 42,853 when at the beginning of the month the cases were only 5000.

At the same time, currently the death toll stands at 1856. The recovery rate slid from 88.46% on Monday to 87.62% on Tuesday. The fatality rate stands at 0.51%.

This comes after Telangana recently achieved a benchmark of conducting one lakh Covid 19 tests and one lakh Covid 19 vaccines. The Supreme Court also directed the government to set more RT-PCR centres in districts for people to get easy access to Covid 19 testing.
