Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) recently chosen Rajya Sabha member from Karnataka Ashok Gasti passes away due to COVID-19 at a private clinic in the city, an authority said on Thursday night. He was 55.
Hospital chief Manish Rai said in an announcement: Gasti died at 10.31 p.m. He was extremely sick with multi-organ failure on a life support system in the emergency unit.
Gasti was chosen unopposed to the Upper House on June 12 alongside Iranna Kadadi of the BJP. He furthermore made a vow as an individual from the Upper House on July 22 in Parliament house.

Naidu additionally tweeted that he was disheartened to find out about the end of Gasti.
