Karnataka Stands Still On Anti-Conversion Bill; Waits For Clearance

In the latest update, the Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday said that the BJP would acquire laws that are useful for individuals and in the bigger interest of society.

Bill Needs Clearance From Committee 

While talking with the media, Bommai said that a decision on the anti-conversion bill, which is before the examination council of the law department, will be taken today (Monday). When it gets clearance from the committee, it will go to the bureau. After discussion, the new bill would be presented before the state Assembly.

Each law will have upsides and downsides and there will be conversations. “However, what is useful for individuals would be made as a law. We are prepared to examine the new law in the meeting,” he said.

10 Students Test Positive For Covid 19 In Karnataka 

Somewhere around 10 students and an educator tried positive for COVID-19 at a school in Karnataka’s Chikkamagaluru area following which the school building was fixed and announced a control zone.
