During the renowned quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) hosted by Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, a recent Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) competitor sought the audience’s help to solve a question about Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
When asked, “Shri Revanth Reddy has taken oath as the Chief Minister of which state?” the competitor chose to use the audience poll as a lifeline.
Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh were among the alternatives. Following the audience survey, it was reported that 80% of the crowd preferred “Telangana,” while 11% chose “Chhattisgarh.” Despite the overwhelming audience feedback, the competitor relied on the poll to answer the question.
In the recently ended state elections, the Congress Party was successful in Telangana, emerging as the only party to form a government. Following this victory, Revanth Reddy was appointed Chief Minister.
Despite having the option to respond with the majority decision of the audience, the contestants had difficulties correctly identifying Telangana as the state where Revanth Reddy took oath as Chief Minister.
