KCR Advices Oppn Leaders to Change their Attitude—Play Constructive Role

Hyderabad : The Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has advised the opposition party leaders to change their attitude and play a constructive role, at least from now-onwards, for the welfare of the people.

Speaking to the media after the Huzurnagar by-poll results, KCR said it was his advice to the opposition.  He had said it in the State Assembly also earlier.  The path they were following is not correct.   They think that  Politics means criticising others. This was not correct.  He said that power is not permanent to anyone.  One might be in power today, and some other may come to power tomorrow.  He said   that at a time when the new State is being rebuilt, it  was not  proper for political leaders to indulge in cursing our own state,  speaking total lies, confusing the people, and carrying on  negative propaganda  among the people.  He said he had already requested the opposition leaders to change their attitude and thinking.  He had told them that if they indulge in mad propaganda, it would boomerang on them.  The Huzurnagar result has clearly proved  now, he added.

KCR stressed that there was need for opposition in the State. But at the same time, the opposition leaders should change their thinking and concepts.  Constructive suggestions and positive criticism are welcome.  Some parties, particularly the BJP has lost the deposit in the election. Comparing the votes the party got with the daily accusations and hue and cry  their leaders are doing on a daily basis, one fails to understand whether to laugh or what to do.  He said that if some people think of becoming big by blaming and scolding  KCR, they are not correct. People have become knowledgeable now.  They are aware of the facts and they can assess things 100 per cent  correctly. They know what is good and what is bad.  He said they have achieved many victories, but they were never proud.  Even in this victory, he  was advising his party cadres not to feel proud, he added.
