Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today charged the BJP and the Congress parties with duping the country men for 72 years and now making tall claims on the eve of general elections. While the BJP takes credit for surgical strikes, the Congress talks of the obsolete “Garibi Hatao” slogan, he said.
The Chief Minister explained that more number of districts formed to take governance to the door-steps of the poor, including SCs, STs, Minorities and also schemes to their doorsteps. KCR vowed to give waters to Khammam by completing the Sitarama project and address all issues on priority.
Addressing public meetings in Khammam and Mahabubabad areas for TRS candidate Malothu Kavitha along with other leaders, KCR said the TRS has to play a key role at the Centre by winning all Lok Sabha seats in the State. Since these parties failed to perform their legitimate duties and deliver goods, the people were looking at Telangana model of development and welfare, he claimed. “Certainly we will coordinate with regional parties to form an alternative to the BJP and the Congress at the Centre, the TRS chief has said.
The TRS supremo took serious exception to the BJP and the Congress for leveling baseless allegations. He lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi for indulging in bogus charges. He also ridiculed both the national parties, which ruled the nation for a long time, were unashamedly blaming others for under development, corruption and scams.
KCR has asserted, “Our welfare schemes are ideal to the nation. Federal Front was gaining support from other regional parties that want to wrest power at the Centre and that will be possible only when we bag 16 Lok Sabha seats. For us, people are bosses and our agenda was for their welfare and to work for more progress”, KCR averred.
He also said as Prime Minister Narendra Modi had utterly failed to keep his promises, the people in the entire country have bounden duty to reject the BJP and the Congress parties”. KCR also said voting for the TRS will help get more funds for the State’s development. He sought to know as to why Modi and Rahul were making false charges.(NSS)
