Hyderabad : Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today appreciated world badminton champion PV Sindhu here. She called on the Chief Minister at Pragati Bhavan along with her Badminton Guru P Gopichand, family members and some sportspersons.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister felicitated Sindhu and gave her pat for her stupendous performance clinching gold in world championship. He said Sindhu brought cheers and made Telangana and India proud. He also wished that Sindhu will be ideal to other sports persons in the State to win more such competitions. He also hoped that Sindhu will be ideal to budding sportsmen in the State and the country.
The State government will provide all support to sports and games to win more laurels to the State, he added. (NSS)
