KCR’s role in stopping BJP is very important: Lalu Prasad Yadav

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav expressed confidence that the united Opposition forces will stop the BJP juggernaut in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He stressed that the role of Telangana Rashtra Samithi President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is very important.

During his visit to Patna on Wednesday, Chandrashekhar Rao met with Lalu Prasad Yadav at the latter’s residence to discuss national politics and the BJP rule. It was agreed that there was a need for unification of the opposition parties, and they pledged to work together towards that goal.

In the coming days, the Mahaghatbandhan in Bihar will take a broader shape, according to the RJD chief. The BJP was becoming restless with the increasing influence of the Opposition parties, and Chandrashekhar Rao’s role was “very important” in this regard, according to him.

It is urgent to oust the BJP from power in order to save the country, Chandrashekhar Rao said. According to him, the Opposition parties are unifying and the BJP will bid farewell in 2024.

Upon his arrival at Lalu Prasad Yadav’s residence, Chandrashekhar Rao was greeted with a grand welcome. A warm welcome was extended by the RJD chief and his wife Rabri Devi, along with Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav.

Chandrashekhar Rao also asked about the health of Lalu Prasad Yadav and wished him a swift recovery. Tej Pratap Yadav, Lalu Prasad’s elder son, was also present at this event.

At his public address in Peddapalli on Monday, ahead of his trip to Bihar, KCR called Prime Minister Narendra Modi a “Golmaal PM,” claiming that whatever his party says are “blatant lies.”

KCR’s visit, however, was met with harsh criticism from BJP’s Sushil Modi, who called it a “get-together of two daydreamers.” He also stated that the two who want to become Prime Minister of India have no chance against Narendra Modi.
