Kodandaram expressed his displeasure at Etala Rajender decision

Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) founder president Professor Kodandaram today expressed his displeasure at the decision of former minister Etala Rajender to quit the TRS and reported the decision to join rival BJP.

Speaking to media persons, he said that Etala had lost a great opportunity to protect the democracy in the state.

He said that the people of the state thought that Etala would become a force to fight for the protection of democracy.

He said that the Telangana society had looked towards Etala and added that all those who reposed their faith in Etala had now been disappointed with his decision.

He said that he and former MP Konda Visweswar Reddy had also told Etala that they would also extend their support to him.

Referring to the decision of Etala to join the BJP, he termed it as his personal decision and added that the joining of Etala into the BJP would help the saffron party.

He made it clear that they had never advised Etala to ignore the BJP. He however agreed that the opposition political parties of the state had failed in fighting against the state government over public problems.
