Nalgonda: Nalgonda MLA and Congress leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today declared that he doesn’t want a minister or Chief Minister post but will strive to dethrone Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao. Pointing out that the State was in the hands of four members of KCR family, he called upon Congress cadre to free the State from the four.
Participating in the Congress party Parliamentary Level meeting here on Sunday, Komatireddy alleged that the TRS government was negligent in completing the SLBC tunnel. While et was also procuring machinery from foreign countries for Kaleswaram project, it was not releasing funds for the SLBC tunnel works and Brahmana Vellemla project.
Reminding that Chief Minister KCR removed him from the Assembly illegally and even removed his gunmen, Komatireddy said he would expose “corrupt practices” of KCR and his family members after coming to power. CLP leader K Jana Reddy said the people of old Nalgonda district will show their strength and ensure victory of the Congress. He also said the district people have already shown their strength in the MLC elections by ensuring victory of Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy. (NSS)
