KTR foundation laid for an elevated express corridor in Hyd

Hyderabad: The city of Hyderabad which is fast growing today surpassed another milestone as the Municipal administration Minister KT Rama Rao today foundation laid for one more elevated express corridor in the City under the SRDP project.

The project which will be constructed with the cost of 523 would facilitate to ease the burden of the traffic between Nalgonda X road to Sayeedabad via Owaisi Junction. Ministers Mehmood Ali, T.Srinivas Yadav, MP Asad Owaisi, Mayor GHMC B.Ram Mohan, Commissioner GHMC Lokesh Kumar and others participated in the programme. The four-lane project will complete within 24 months.

Length of the corridor will be 3382 km and 2580 ramps would be its either sides. After completion of the corridor, the traffic problems between Owaisi Junction from Nalgonda X road would be solved.

A survey which was conducted in 2015 revealed that 70,576 Vehicle users are using this route however these numbers would be more than 2 lakhs in 2035.
