Telangana IT, Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao today congratulated Gutta Sukendar Reddy for being elected as chairman of the legislative council for the second time.
KTR extended his best wishes to Gutta Sukendar Reddy while he was swearing in as chairman of the Legislative Council for second time.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR said Telangana State was fortunate to have Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao as first Chief Minister for the new borne State, Pocharam Srinivas Reddy as Speaker of Legislative Assembly and you (Gutta Sukendar Reddy) becoming Chairman of the Upper House. “Three of you are sons of farmers. The State is fortunate to have three farmers occupying highest constitutional posts in the State and I congratulate you on behalf of the farming community”.

The MA&UD minister said Sukhendar Reddy started his political career as ward member and emerged as a beloved leader of the people. He created history by being elected MP from the Nalgonda parliamentary constituency thrice.
