KTR had lunch with sanitation, DRF and Entomology staff

Hyderabad: Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development K. Taraka Ramarao had lunch with the staff of sanitation, Disaster Response Force (DRF), and Entomology wings at DRF Training center, opp Sanjeevaiah Park here on Wednesday. He called them as GHMC Frontline Warriors.

The Minister speaking to them during lunch praised the services of the sanitation workers, Entomology, and DRF teams. He said that they are working restlessly in the lockdown period on par with the Doctors and Police.  Minister himself served food to the sanitation workers and enquired about their wellbeing and asked them to be careful while discharging their duties by taking precautionary measures. He also enquired about the wellbeing of their family members too.

KTR said that the Government recognized the services of workers who are working hard for the welfare of the society and in containing the COVID-19 virus following which  Chief Minister K.Chandra Shekar Rao announced incentives apart from full payment of salary. Minister further, appealed staffers to spread awareness by explaining their neighbors the importance of hygienic and social distancing in order to contain the spread of COVID-19 virus. While speaking with the entomology wing minister directed them to be well prepared with an action plan to control mosquitoes menace during monsoon.

Excise Minister Srinivas Goud, Mayor Dr.Bonthu Rammohan  MLA  Balka Suman, Principle Secretary MA&UD   Arvind Kumar, Dy.Mayor  Baba Fasiuddin, EVDM Director Viswajit Kampati, Addl. Commissioner Sanitation Rahul Raj, Zonal Commissioner Srinivas Reddy, and others participated in the program.
