Hyderabad : TRS Working president and Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao on Wednesday requested the Defence Minister Rajanath Singh to intervene and issue instructions to the Secunderabad Cantonment Board officials to reopen roads in the vicinity to avoid inconvenience to the people.
“Extremely strange behaviour despite repeated requests from Govt of Telangana and the local residents. I request Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Ji to intervene and issue instructions to the local Cantonment officials to avoid inconvenience to public,” he tweeted. Rao’s action followed a complaint made by a Twitter user, Greensainikpuri that roads in Secunderabad Cantonment area were being closed without any prior information.
