KTR unveils poster for Mission 10X – SIGs program for early revenue startups

The poster of T-Incubators & Accelerators Consortium of Telangana State Innovation Cell – TSIC Mission 10X-SIGs, a scaleup program for early revenue startups, was unveiled by IT Minister KT Rama Rao on Tuesday.

TSIC, T-Hub, and RICH, in collaboration with IIIT Hyderabad, IKP, AIC-CCMB, and Ag-Hub, are leading the six-month market strategy, business development, and customer access program.

It will also help the selected cohort startups with market strategy, corporate market reviews, customer connections, and funding opportunities. Working with several incubators and accelerators in Telangana and other states, this collaborative initiative will support the startup ecosystem.

Mission 10X-SIGs is open for startups with market-fit products emerging in AgriTech, MedTech and DeepTech sectors, anchored by TSIC, T-Hub, Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad (RICH) along with International Institute of Information Technology – Hyderabad (IIIT-H), IKP Knowledge Park, Atal Incubation Centre- Centre for Cellular Molecular Biology and Ag-Hub.

All shortlisted startups will be mentored for one month to review their product strategy, market approach, and corporate pitch readiness, and refine these elements to address the current business climate and constraints.

Mission 10X-SIGs, according to TSIC Chief Innovation Officer Shanta Thoutam, was an outcome-oriented initiative designed by Telangana’s eminent ecosystem players, keeping in mind what support is needed by emerging startups and conducting relevant interventions.

The first edition of this program included a cohort of 12 startups, six from DeepTech and six from MedTech. During the program, all of the startups were introduced to corporate companies and venture capitalists. The AgriTech sector has been included in this edition because a large number of startups are emerging and have the potential to scale. Startoon labs, a MedTech startup which was part of the first cohort, received the prominent USFDA approval.
