Minister for Industries and IT, KT Rama Rao has requested the Center to establish a Vaccination Testing Centre in the city without any delay.
Pointing out that the city has become the ‘vaccine capital’, KTR stated there is a need for a vaccine testing center here. If the center is established, an additional 8 to 10 crores of vaccine doses could be produced here every month and there is the possibility of producing 100 crore doses in the coming six months.

Keeping in view the need for vaccine supply, the testing center should be set up here immediately, the Minister added.
KTR said the state government will extend cooperation on a fast track mode for setting up the center. The government is ready to provide the land required for the center in the Zenome valley, he stated.
IT and Industries Minister @KTRTRS wrote a letter to @MoHFW_INDIA Sri @drharshvardhan ji and reiterated the request for establishment of a Vaccine Testing and Certification Laboratory in Hyderabad, on the lines of Central Drug Laboratory in Kasauli.
