Telugu Desam Party (TDP) state president and former MLA L. Ramana today hailed the services of the former founder president of the party and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh state NTR on the occasion of the latter’s birth anniversary.
He said that the birth anniversary of NTR was held like a festival by Telugu people from across the world. He said that NTR who was born in a farmer’s family had shown extraordinary talent and achieved several milestones in life.
He also said that NTR had brought the TDP into power within 9 months of its formation. He recalled that NTR had worked hard for the welfare of the marginalized communities and weaker sections of society.

He urged the central government to confer the highest civilian award of the country Bharata Ratna on NTR posthumously.
Targeting CM KCR he alleged that the state had failed on all fronts due to the inadequate and inefficient leadership of the CM.
