Hyderabad: Congress former MP Lagadapati Rajgopal, who is known for election results survey and predictions, today predicted that more Independent candidates would win in the Assembly elections this time in Telangana State.
Speaking to the media at Tirupati after having darshan of Lord Venkateshwara, Lagadapati said this time some eight to ten rebel candidates, who are contesting election as Independent, may definitely established their victory, he asserted. There was excitement in both the Telugu States on elections results in Telangana, he said, adding that he would reveal his survey on the elections results on December 7. He said, “every day I will announce names of two Independent candidates, who are going to win the Assembly seats”.
Lagadapati said Shashikumar Reddy, Narayanpet Assembly Independent candidate in Mahabubnagar district and Jadav Anil Kumar contesting for Bodh (ST) in Adilabad district would win the elections. Stating that he does not belong to any political party, Lagadapati said people of Telangana State are going to exercise their votes as per their whims in spite of efforts being made to lure them.
