Hyderabad: The condition of minor girl Madhulika, who was hunted and grievously injured by a maniac Bharat at Barkatpura continues to be critical. The doctors at the Yashoda hospitals have said they cannot say anything about her condition for the next 48 years.
The doctors said the victim had sustained critical injuries on her head, neck, back and other parts of the body resulting in profuse bleeding. Informing that BP and pulse rate of Madhulika continues to be low, the doctors said they cannot perform any surgery on the victim until her BP and pulse rate return normal. They also said they would have to perform several surgeries on the Intermediate student to turn her normal.
Meanwhile, the police found that Bharat hatched a plan to attack Madhulika. He stole a knife from a coconut shop and hid it in his house secretly to attack the girl for rejecting his feelers. He also hid knife again in his house after attacking the girl.
On the other hand, parents of the victim have alleged that they did not get justice from the local police despite the fact that they filed a complaint with the She Team in the city. They alleged that the She Team simply conducted a counseling for the victim, the accused and their parents and washed off their hands. They also alleged that the She Team took the case lightly at the instance of the boy’s relative, who worked as a police officer earlier. (NSS)
