Malkajgiri Congressmen protest against move to give seat to TJS

Hyderabad : Crying that Malkajgiri Assembly constituency was a citadel of the Congress and its victory was certain in the ensuing elections, the Congress activists staged a dharna at Gandhi Bhavan demanding that the seat should not be gifted to the Telangana Jana Samithi under any circumstances.  The Congress workers shouted slogans against the State party’s decision to spare the Malkajgiri seat to the TJS. The party leaders said they were not able to digest the State leadership’s decision and reminded that AICC president Rahul Gandhi had stated that the “winnable” seats should not be given to the allies.
