Hyderabad : The supporters of TDP leader Mandali Radhakrishna today staged a dharna in front of the NTR trust bhavan demanding that the party allot ticket to Radhakrishna from Malkajgiri Assembly constituency. Radhakrishna’s supporters raised slogans in his support and demanded that the party leadership allot ticket to their leader to contest from this seat. Later, they went to the residence of AP Chief Minister and party national president Chandrababu Naidu, who is in city, and tried to meet him. However, police intervened and pacified them.
It may be mentioned here that the BJP allotted ticket to its MLC Ramachander Rao to contest from Malkajgiri seat for the second time. (NSS)
