Hyderabad: TPCC Vice President Mallu Ravi on Thursday said that the congress party had brought freedom from the clutches of the British rule. He also said that it was the congress party which had developed the agriculture and industrial sector of the country.
He alleged that prime minister Narendra Modi was making baseless comments against their party leader Jawaharlal Nehru while noting that Nehru spent 10 years in jail.
Speaking to media persons, Ravi also talked about Jammu and Kashmir state issue and added that Kashmir was part of India as part of a temporary agreement executed by the Indian government with the ruler of Kashmir and added that the temporary nature of article 370 of Indian constitution had helped the BJP to revoke it easily. He alleged that the BJP was making baseless allegations against their leader Nehru to gain political mileage while making it clear that it was impossible for the BJP to disintegrate the people of the country with the congress party.(NSS)
