Hyderabad: Congress senior leader and former MLA Malreddy Ranga Reddy on Friday flayed the comments of TRS working president K Tarakarama Rao for asking those who have won in the municipal elections to shun corrupt practices and warned of dire consequences. Alleging that the TRS leaders had destroyed all democratic institutions in the State, Malreddy said KTR was preaching sermons by keeping corrupt MLAs by his side.
He said the TRS leaders had made the Congress leaders as municipal chairpersons of Adibatla, Pedda Amberpet and Badangpet municipal corporation and municipalities of the State. He also alleged that the ruling party leaders had committed several irregularities to win the elections. He warned KTR that the people would teach the ruling party a befitting lesson if he spoke arrogantly.
