Hyderabad: A two-day imprisonment and a fine of Rs 200 were imposed by the Court on one G Naresh, 30, of Malkajgiri-Ranga Reddy District for harassing a woman on whatsapp by sending abusive messages.
In a pressnote today, Shikha Goel, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crimes & SIT), Hyderabad stated that the accused was apprehended by SHE Teams following a complaint from the victim. When produced before the court, the accused admitted his guilt. The court awarded two-day imprisonment and fine of Rs 200, as per Sections 70(C) of Hyderabad City Police Act and 290 IPC on December 18. (NSS)
