Mayor asks Bojagutta residents to vacate area for construction of 2BHK houses

Hyderabad: GHMC Mayor Dr Bonthu Rammohan today informed the residents of Bojagutta area that construction of 2BHK housing scheme would be completed soon and will be allotted to those who vacated first for construction of houses.

Addressing the Bojagutta residents at GHMC Head Office, the Mayor said construction of 2BHK houses will be completed soon as the GHMC and Revenue officials were putting best efforts to convince the remaining residents, who have not vacated their houses till now, to vacate their places to construct the 2BHK houses.

Earlier, the residents of Boja gutta staged a dharna for early completion 2BHK houses, since they have vacated their houses for construction of houses and finding it difficult on staying in rented houses. The  GHMC was taking up construction of 230  2BHK houses at a cost of Rs 141.36 crores on 13 acres of land. There are 213 families comprising 1,824 people residing there. These families residing on area ranging from 10 Sq.yds to 60 Sq.yds and only a few have not vacated their houses yet. Since, all obstructions cleared, the construction of 2BHK will be completed very soon, the Mayor added. (NSS)
