MDS and BM College of Nursing Holds 2nd Convocation Ceremony

The 2nd convocation ceremony of Bansilal Malani College of Nursing (BMC) a division of Mahila Dakshata Samithi Educational Institutions (MDS), Hyderabad, was held on Friday. The ceremony was attended by the Hon’ble Mayor of Hyderabad, Smt. Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, as the chief guest.

During the convocation, 38 students of B.Sc. Nursing were awarded degrees. The top four nursing students who received the mementos and certificate for best performance inNursing academics and awards of prizes to the 6 students of Suman Junior college have secured state ranks in the Board of Intermediate Examinations held in March 2023 were given away by the Mayor.

In her address, the Mayor highlighted the importance of nurses in the healthcare system. She said that nurses play a pivotal role in any hospital environment and that they are the lifeline of the medical segment. She also congratulated the graduating students on their achievements and wished them all the best in their future careers.

Dr. Saroj Bajaj, President of Mahila Dakshata Samithi Educational Institutions, said that nursing is a noble and service-oriented profession. She said that nurses provide care and support to patients, not only physically but also mentally. She congratulated the graduating students on their hard work and dedication and wished them all the success in their future endeavors.

The Principal of Mahila Dakshata Samithi and Bansilal Malani College of Nursing, H. Sushila Patil, read the college’s progress report and cited the achievements of the college’s students and faculty in the arena of academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. She thanked the management for the overall growth and progress of the college and how their students were making strides in various fields of nursing education.

The convocation ceremony was also attended by Dr. Mrs. Sapna Marda Radiologist Yashoda Hospitals – Secunderabad, and Principal of Suman junior college (General and Vocational) for girls Mrs. D. Rama Kumari, and others were present.

The event was a grand success and was a testament to the high standards of education and training at MDS. The graduating students are now well-equipped to take on the challenges of the nursing profession and make a positive impact on the lives of their patients.
