Hyderabad: The construction work pertaining to metro rail project is likely to start in Old City
Now that Muharram and the elections are over, it is likely that metro rail work will start without any further delay.
This work was held up due to the mourning days of Muharram and the election process. As the road from Darulshifa to Sultan Shahi remains busy In the month of Muharram
GHMC has identified the properties which are likely to be affected in the areas of Darulshifa, Mir Alam Mandi, Alijah Kotla, Moghalpura and Sultan Shahiand the plan to acquire these properties have already been finalized by GHMC and Hyderabad Metro Rail.
L&T is the agency which is taking up this work and It is waiting for the approval of the government to start the work.
