Minister KT Rama Rao Welcomes Japanese Investments in Telangana

KT Rama Rao, Minister of Information Technology and Industries, has indicated interest in building a Japanese industrial cluster in Chandanvelly, Rangareddy district, and has welcomed Japanese enterprises to invest in the region.

The Minister commended Japan’s resilience and prosperity despite its limited resources and vulnerability to natural catastrophes during a groundbreaking ceremony for Daifuku Intralogistics India and Nicomac Taikisha. He emphasised the broad use of Japanese products in India and praised Japanese workplace culture.

Minister KT Rama Rao praised Daifuku and Nicomac for their investments of Rs. 575 crore, which will result in the creation of 1600 direct jobs in Telangana. He emphasised the companies’ commitment to hiring local talent and working with local ITIs to provide training opportunities for the region’s youth. Both companies, according to the Minister, will emerge as leaders in their respective areas in India.
