Ministers launch Steel bridge at Punjagutta

Hyderabad: Home Minister Mahamood Ali,  and Animal Husbandry Minister,  T Srinivas Yadav today inaugurated steel bridge at  Panjagutta cemetery connecting Jubilee Hills Check post.

Speaking on the occasion Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali said GHMC keeping special focus in solving traffic problems in the city. The Punjagutta road is one of the busiest roads in the city, the  Minister MA&UD  K. Tarak Ramarao has given much importance and given approval for road widening and construction of Steel Bridge to ease the traffic congestion at Punjagutta and GHMC undertaken the construction with the cost of Rs.5.95 Crores.

Under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister K.Chandra Shekar Rao, the Telangana State is the forefront in development. The developmental activities is in full swing during LockDown with recent inaugurations of Flyover, underpass, and 2BHK houses, at other places the construction of 2BHK houses is at a brisk pace.  Minister appreciated the efforts of GHMC officials, Construction agency, and thanked to the affected landowners and Community organizations who responded positively in handing over land for the public convenience. The construction of steel Bridge completed without disturbing the tombs in the graveyard using Steel Plate Girders. With the opening of the bridge the traffic problem will ease and also reduces pollution.

Minister  Talasani Srinivas Yadav said various countries evinced keen interest in investing in Hyderabad with the kind of development taking place. During the lockdown period GHMC undertook various works like construction of flyovers, desilting of nalas, widening of nalas etc.

GHMC Mayor Dr. Bonthu Rammohan said with suggestions and directions of the  Minister for MA&UD K.Taraka Ramarao, GHMC is undertaking various developmental activities in the city for improving Infrastructure. With the opening of Steel Bridge the flow of traffic will be as ease and with the works of road widening at Hindu Graveyard further, there will be no traffic problem on either side of roads and by July end total works of the road widening will be completed at this point

Danam Nagender, MLA, Lokesh Kumar, Commissioner GHMC, Ms.M.Kavitha Reddy Corporator,   Sreedhar C.E.(Projects)  and Jyothirmayi  S.E. participated in the inauguration programme.
