A seventeen-year-old minor kid reportedly raped a Married woman in her thirties and filmed a video of the act and later made the video viral on online media.
The woman’s difficulty didn’t stop here. What was largely even more shocking that her in-laws allegedly threw her out of the house in the wake of coming across the viral video. The occurrence, which took place five months prior, came to light after the survivor approached Sadar Kotwali police and provided a written complaint on Sunday.
The woman claimed that the minor, who had then raped her, additionally made a video of the incident and as of late made it viral by posting it on the social media platforms.
Police stated that they have gotten a complaint in this regard from the woman on Sunday and are investigating the issue further.
“A 17-year-old boy hailing from a locality in Sadar Kotwali police station limits, had allegedly raped a 30-year-old married woman and filmed a video of the act and further made it viral on social media,” said Inspector Sadar Kotwali Dinesh Singh.
According to the woman, the incident is five-month-old and she did not stand up to speak in fear of the incident to her in-laws, however now subsequent to coming across the video, when they humiliated and threw her out of the house, she seemed for police help, the Inspector stated.
The woman is currently living with her family members, he further stated, including that the investigation is in process and we will seize the mobile phone once the accused is arrested and lead a thorough inquiry and file an FIR under appropriate sections of IPC against him.
What’s more shocking is that rape cases in the country seem to be on the rise. In late October, A seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 15-year-old boy at a village in Shahjahanpur.
The occurrence took place on Thursday night, and the boy has been arrested, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Aparna Gautam stated.
He will be presented under the steady gaze of a Juvenile Court, the official stated and included that the girl has been admitted to a hospital.
