MLA Jagga Reddy slams Siddipeta district collector

Congress party MLA T. Jaiprakash Reddy today came down heavily on Siddipet district collector Venkatani Reddy and condemned the comments of the collector.

Speaking to media persons Reddy asked the state government, he wondered in what Capacity the Siddipet district collector was threatening the farmers of the state. He asked the state government as to why the collector was still being continued in his post after making such controversial comments.

He said that the congress party condemning the comment of the district collector and added that his party would stand by the farmers of the state. He said that their party would fight on behalf of the farmers of the state. He asked the collector to tender his apologies to the farmers of the state immediately and warned that they would lay seize around the district collectorate if the collector did not seek apologies from the farmers.

TPCC working president Mahesh Kumar Goud alleged that the district collector had turned into an extra-judicial authority in the state. Referring to the comments ts of the district collector, he asked the state government if it had constructed several irrigation projects in the state for turning them into tourism spots.

Ponnam condemns the collector’s comments

Former MP Ponnam Prabhakar condemned the comments made by the Siddipet district collector Venkatrami Reddy over the sale of paddy seeds by dealers.

He warned the Chief Minister that they would sell the paddy seeds in all the villages of the state if the CM had failed to supply the paddy seeds to the farmers.

He made it clear that none of the paddy farmers of the state would keep mum if they were prevented from cultivating the paddy.
