Hyderabad: The appointment of the TPCC president has become a bone of contention among the party leaders. In a fresh development, the party MLA Jagga Reddy, who has already expressed his anger over the non-inclusion of his name in the list of aspirants for the post, wrote a letter to the party high command and urged the Party’s national president Sonia Gandhi and AICC in-charge Manickam Tagore.
In his letter, he warned the party high command that rival BJP was playing a mind game in the state and using the ruling TRS Party and MIM parties to gain a foothold in the state. He made it clear to the party high command that the BJP did not have suitable candidates who can win MLA seats to them.
Citing that the by-elections for Nagarjuna Sagar are approaching fast, he urged the party high command to go ahead in the elections under the leadership of former minister and veteran party leader K.Jana Reddy and face the elections. He also urged the party high command to continue the incumbent president of the PCC N. Uttam Kumar Reddy till the completion of the by-elections. He urged the party’s national leadership to postpone the appointment of the TPCC president.
