The city-based MMTS services have been increased to 57 per day from the existing 12 services per day.
The railway authorities concerned decided to increase the services following the intervention of the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G. Kishan Reddy.
Reddy spoke to the union railway minister Piyush Goyal on the issue and urged him to increase the services from the existing 12 per day to 57 per day.

The minister urged the residents of the city to strictly follow Covid 19 norms while using the MMTS services.
The minister thanked Goyal for increasing the services on his request.
