Modi Govt failed to give more jabs, oxygen : Dayakar praises KCR for sops to Warangal

In the wake of a shortage of injections and oxygen supply from the centre, Panchayat Raj Minister Dayakar Rao today criticised the BJP government for failing to address the issues.

Dayakar Rao was talking to presspersons with TRS leaders on the shortage of injections and stopping the second dose of vaccination drive in the area.

The people are awaiting more stocks of injections and oxygen supply from the centre he bemoaned.

The minister accused the Modi Government of not able to deliver more stocks of vaccines. He stated that the state did not get injections and oxygen in adequate quantities. Despite pandemic and rise in cotona cases and deaths in the second wave, the Modi Government failed to cater to the needs of the states, Rao charged.

He attributed the stalling of the second dose of vaccines in the state due to the non-supply of injections from the central government. The Centre and its officials are not offering adequate stocks of vaccines to us, he deplored. The Modi Government failed to check the Corona cases and fatalities in rising the minister alleged.

The minister hit out at the congress and BJP leaders for spreading falsehood.  We are doing our best to provide the best health facilities and services the minister claimed. He said that the centre has to ramp up the production of injections to provide immediate stocks to the states. We need more stocks of injections, oxygen, medicines, doses and jabs of Remdesivir he said. However, the Centre is not supplying the same to us the Panchayati Raj minister charged.

Dayakar heaped praise in Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for announcing sops to Warangal city.  During his visit to MGM Hospital, KCR has announced a super speciality hospital, shifting of a central jail to outskirts and funds for development he said.  We the people of Warangal are lucky as the Chief Minister is keen to develop he claimed.

Dayakar stated that KCR is pushing all hospitals with more facilities, and health infrastructure to provide better services. During the Corona period we try to get more stocks of injections and oxygen, he added.
