Hyderabad : A depressed housewife committed suicide by electrocuting herself after killing her two children by making them to consume poison at Mansoorabad village under LB Nagar police limits on Friday.
According to the information, Sravanthi of Station Ghanpur in Warangal district was married ten years ago and blessed with children – Sai Teja, 9, and Satwuja, 7. Later, she parted ways with her husband due to some differences and returned to her maternal house at Mansoorabad in LB Nagar. When her parents asked her to go back to her husband, Sravanthi refused to reunite with her husband saying that he was mentally deranged.
Dejected with her life, Sravanthi made her two children to consume poison and drank the same later. While the two children died, Sravanthi escaped from death. However, she also committed suicide by catching a live electric wire. (NSS)
